Guys and Dolls Jr.

Guys and Dolls Jr.

Set in Damon Runyon’s New York City, Guys and Dolls JR. follows gambler, Nathan Detroit, as he tries to find the cash to set up the biggest crap game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck. Meanwhile, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they’ve been engaged for fourteen years without ever getting married. Nathan turns to fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, for the dough, but Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown. Guys and Dolls JR. takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, but everyone eventually ends up right where they belong.

For two weeks, five days a week, full days, your Middle or High School student will be mirror the current Broadway style musical Mainstage Production in Jr. form. With a professional staff, they will have the opportunity to explore acting, costumes, sets, voice and lights! This is a NEW offering as part of the Musical Theatre Camps!

We continue to monitor and adopt the best practices/recommendations for theaters and our procedures have proven to keep our patrons safe and comfortable at the Ruby Theatre.  We are Art Safe Certified by the Missouri Arts Council and the Missouri Arts Safety Alliance.
