Into the Woods is a musical masterpiece that weaves together beloved fairy tales. Stephen Sondheim’s enchanting score and James Lapine’s clever script take audiences into a magical forest where iconic characters confront their desires and face the consequences of their wishes. Follow a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. What happens if everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results?
